A Note From Our President

As we bask in the glow from our annual Christmas Bazaar, which
earned us $8,500 to help the Hampden Historical Society maintain the
Kinsley House and Archives, I would like to thank all of our over 30
volunteers and the more than 400 people who came or contributed to
the success of this fabulous annual event. A big THANK YOU goes to
the volunteers for not only the work done on Saturday, November 22,
but the countless hours spent behind the scenes prior to the event.
In order for this bazaar to come together it takes a village and thankfully
we have many, many villagers! This involved those who coordinated
the overall event, the different rooms, the set-up, decorating,
organization of donated items, and the fantastic contributions made by
the people who support HHS by selling raffle tickets, placing posters
and signs, moving our treasures and setting up, baking, making crafts
and fancy goods, as well as the numerous fabulous donations made to
our jewelry and white elephant rooms. Another successful year and our
best ever! Giving a big shout-out to ALL those who contributed or were
involved in this worthwhile endeavor! Again, THANK YOU! Hampden
Historical Society is all about our past, present and future!
