Soldiers of the Revolution
Revolutionary War Memorial. Created by Members of HHS. 2026 The Revolutionary War Memorial was installed at the Hampden Historical Society during the first week of June 2026 as part of the nation's 250th anniversary observance. Designed by Ellyn Chase and constructed with the help of Will Nickerson, the memorial honors Revolutionary War veterans connected to Hampden and the surrounding community. Sweet Success
It was a beautiful Saturday and we had a wonderful Yard and Book Sale. Our deep appreciation goes out to all of you who rummaged through your attics, basements, closets and storage areas to find “hidden treasures” to donate. And thanks to our volunteers for the hours spent moving, sorting, pricing and setting up.
