Interesting Bits from the Museum Kitchen

Jerry Stanhope and Nancy McAvoy showed us many fun finds from the museum including a butter press, a flour sifter, a portable writing desk, a recipe book from a time when the Society put on fundraising dinners, numerous apothecary items for skinned knees, chapped skin and upset tummies, a pie crimper and, surprise--a hoop to go under a skirt!

Beautifully decorated cookies and delicious bars, pound cake and candies were enjoyed by all.
