Shenanigans, Side Hustles and Hampden Hijinks: Memories and Laughs from the 50s and 1960s

A group of more than 45 attendees at Hampden Historical Society’s monthly meeting enjoyed a wonderful program about living in East Hampden in the 1950s and 1960s. Member Sandra Boynton regaled the group with tales of her childhood growing up in Hampden, talking about many familiar family names and places. Skip Howard and John Murphy, who are childhood friends, presented together about some of their youthful escapades, first jobs and other stories of Hampden. Their candor and humor were much appreciated!​
